From start to finish, everything was perfect. We... read more booked through WhatsApp, and Chesi was very responsive and helpful, making the process smooth and stress-free. On the first morning, we were picked up at our hotel right on time at 7am and taken to their office to finalize payment, which we did easily using a mix of cash (in shillings, which we had already exchanged) and M-Pesa.

The true highlight of our safari was our guide, Kasaine, a Masai from Masai Mara. His passion for wildlife and deep knowledge of animal behavior were absolutely incredible. He took us on routes away from the usual crowds, making sure we saw the Big Five and many other amazing animals. It was also wonderful to get to know him personally and learn about his Masai culture — an unexpected and priceless bonus that made the trip even more meaningful.

As for accommodation:
• Sankale Camp (Masai Mara): Simple and basic, with hot water and electricity for a few hours. Food was nice and simple, and the staff were so welcoming. We were out all day anyway, so it was exactly what we needed.
• Buraha Zenoni (near Lake Nakuru): A comfortable hotel with all the conveniences, including a hairdryer — very welcome after several safari days!
• Manjaro Tented Camp (Amboseli): A lovely tented camp, a bit nicer than the first, with a great atmosphere.

Jungle Roam’s organization was impeccable, and everything ran seamlessly. This was an unforgettable honeymoon, and we can’t thank Kasaine enough for making it so special and exceeding our expectations.   High quality operator, safe professional and honest  - We booked a 7-day private safari for our family of three (two parents and a toddler) through Jungle Roam and couldn’t be happier with our decision. While we are fairly... read more well-travelled, including in Africa and not always in luxurious conditions, it was our very first time in Kenya and we didn’t know what to expect.
Before we came, Chesi from Jungleroam went the extra mile to customise a great package that could fit our budget, including visits to Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru and of course the Masai Mara. In hindsight, the mix of hotels was a bit uneven, with some of them quite a bit more luxurious than the others, but this was all clearly advertised and the final list was our decision - something we had actually insisted on, so I’m happy with it.

Our driver-guide for the tour was Roger, who did a brilliant job. Roger is a skilled driver, handling the car safely and smoothly on all terrains. He is extremely punctual, professional, honest and meticulous. He shares his extensive knowledge of the history, culture, geography and wildlife of Kenya, and we especially appreciated his strong ethics and respect for the nature around us. Thanks to his skills we were able to see the Big Five close up in just a few hours, but without ever troubling the wildlife around us. Roger was also very generous with his time, and managed to squeeze an additional unplanned stop on our itinerary on Lake Naivasha, taking us on a beautiful boat ride even though this meant that we only reached Masai Mara later in the evening and he had to drive the last stretch of bumpy road through the night.

Our only regret is that due to the fact that our hotels didn’t offer accommodation for the drivers, we couldn’t get to spend much time together in the evenings.

I wholeheartedly recommend Roger and Chesi from Jungle Roam for anyone who wants to have a great time in Kenya

The communications were good, as we were able to call over WhatsApp and also go into the office and all of my questions were answered. Additionally we were able to book the tour a week beforehand with hotel pick-up and drop-off. I would definitely do the tour again.

The accomodation was okay given the price point, although I would probably get accomodation with more amenities in the future.
